Known in particular for his roles in Doctor Who and in The Crown, Matt Smith shared for five years the life of Lily James, British actress known for her interpretation of Rose McClare in the series Downton Abbey. The couple officially separates at the end of 2020. In May 2021, our colleagues from the Daily Mail reveal that Matt Smith would have started an affair with Caroline Brady, a British businesswoman. The latter is notably the sister of Millie Brady, interpreter of Cleo in The Queen’s Gambit, a hit Netflix series, and former partner of Harry Styles. House of the Dragon: Matt Smith injured on set

On the set of the most anticipated series of the season, Matt Smith had a mishap. During a meeting in San Diego a few days ago, Fabien Frankel, who will play Sir Criston Cole in House of the Dragon, revealed that he injured the British actor in the face with an ax during their first rehearsal. “I really regret saying that because I was asked if I seriously hurt him. But at that point I was like, ‘My God, of all the people I could have hit with an axe, Matt Smith was the worst.’ I was ready for them to say to me, ‘[You hit] Matt Smith, right?
