It was during the summer of 2016 that Harry and Meghan Markle had their first one-to-one meeting. For three hours, in a trendy club in London, the lovebirds have long exchanged and quickly agreed on one point: “to change the world for good”. Quickly addicted to each other, they decided to meet again the next day, in the same place. In a new biography dedicated to the husbands of Sussex, called Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of A Modern Family available on August 11 (some extracts have been unveiled by The Times) Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand have revealed how the Suits actress had been seduced.
After these two meetings, during which they discovered a lot of points in common, Meghan Markle was welcomed to Kensington Palace, where the grandson of Elizabeth II did everything to impress his beautiful, in particular by talking to her about his personal life and its various charitable missions. Six weeks later, they found themselves in Botswana: that’s when they really fell in love. “I have never felt so safe and close to someone in such a short time,” Archie’s mom told one of her relatives after the trip.
Harry said “I love you” first
Harry had warned his beautiful that their relationship would soon be public and that he wanted to make the most of it before it did. So, lovers have often met in secret before formalizing their love story in broad daylight, and announcing their engagement a few weeks later. The book announces that they took the plunge two months before revealing it to the whole world: Harry is the first to have said “I love you”. Now far from the royal family of England, and the pressure, Harry and Meghan are trying to build their cocoon in Los Angeles, where their projects are gaining momentum.
