No matter the time and any place, today, it is essential to be able to draw your health pass at the slightest exit. To eat in a restaurant, have a drink on the terrace, afford a movie screening … being vaccinated against Covid-19 is essential. And to prove that he has indeed received his two doses, Andrea Colonnetta, an Italian student, has found an unstoppable … and original technique!
Now, at the entrance of a fast-food restaurant or a cinema, Andrea Colonnetta just has to roll up his sleeve to prove that he is well vaccinated against the coronavirus. Indeed, the young man of 22 years decided to have the QR Code of his health pass tattooed on the biceps. “So I always have it with me,” he told the newspaper Il Corriere della Calabria. “It’s rather original, I like to be different.”

How Andrea’s QR Code tattoo went viral
After several appearances on Instagram and on Tik Tok, Andrea has become a real little local star. On one of the posts, he is seen outside a McDonald’s, raising his arm to take a photo of his tattoo. The fast-food staff then scans the latter, and Andrea can finally enjoy her hamburger. “I didn’t expect my tattoo to go viral on social media.”
And his parents then, what did they really think? “They encouraged me … to be less impulsive and to think a little more before acting,” laughs Andrea. Perhaps a temporary tattoo would have been a better idea. But after all, thanks to her little madness, Andrea will be able to keep a lifetime memory of the period that we have been going through for over a year now.
