A father has drawn the wrath of Internet users by asking his wife, who has just given birth, to prepare dinner for him at 2 a.m.

Waking up in the middle of the night by her husband asking her to cook, Nathalie (assumed first name) strongly rebuffed him. However, she quickly blamed herself and asked for the opinion of Internet users on Reddit. In a long testimony, the young mother explained that her husband currently works until 2 or even 3 a.m.: “He says that his evening service tends to last longer because he works overtime.” For her part, she is constantly exhausted because she hasn’t slept much since the birth of their baby. A detail that his companion obviously does not pay attention to.

“Last Thursday he woke me up shaking me at 2:45 a.m. I asked him what he wanted and he told me he was hungry and wanted to eat. I told him I didn’t put on leftover dinner for him, thinking he had already eaten at work. He gets angry and says to me, ‘Are you crazy? Eating at work?’ He then demands that I go and make him dinner” said Nathalie. Furious, her husband did not appreciate that she refused him this favour: “He made a comment about the quantities that I eat and the weight that I have gained lately. He refuses to speak to me after having told me that ‘He works hard for this family compared to me and it’s the least I can do for his dinner no matter the time.

“Avoid this marriage”

Unsurprisingly, many internet users criticized the husband’s odious attitude. “I have an 18 month old baby. If my partner had treated me this way, especially after I took care of our child all day, I think it would be over. He shows so much love. disrespect”, “He can cook his own shitty dinner. It’s not your responsibility to mother him. He’s an adult and he needs to start acting like one. I would have kicked him out with such behavior”, “Flee this marriage”, “What is wrong with your husband? Be careful. I’m worried about you” we read in the comments.
