Since Meghan and Harry returned to the United States, concern has spread to the Crown
Invited to the jubilee of Elizabeth II, the Sussexes play their last card
The royal family will not tolerate any leaks from Meghan and Harry…
In the coming weeks, the actions of the Sussexes risk being scrutinized by the Crown. At the beginning of June, for the first time since their sensational departure from the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom with members of the institution. With their two children, Archie and Lilibet, they celebrated as it should be the platinum jubilee of Elizabeth II, which without allowing them to pose on the balcony of Buckingham offered them a great symbolic opportunity. Back in the United States after this European escapade, the Sussexes are now expected at the turn. As a Crown expert asserts, the couple is now facing a real ordeal which could well impact the rest of their relationship with the royal family.
In the columns of Closer Magazine, Duncan Larcombe explained that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle risked being “expelled” from the ranks of the Crown if they divulged private moments of the Jubilee. For the Sussexes, therefore, it is now the “last chance”. “The test really starts now for Harry and Meghan. They came to the UK and Jubilee and showed themselves as royals again, which is great for their brand and that Spotify, Netflix and Penguin will obviously want to use,” the Prince Harry: The Inside Story author continued. According to him, the continuation of their relationship with the Crown will depend “on the behavior” of the Sussexes: “An olive branch has been extended by the royal family. But Harry and Meghan would spoil it if private information about this weekend were communicated to the press or revealed in a book”.
Will Meghan and Harry take a ‘step in the right direction’?
“It’s the start of the last chance for them now. If anything from the weekend leaks, I imagine they will be totally excluded and it will be final,” the Crown expert warns. And if Duncan Larcombe considers this period as “dangerous” for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, he recognizes that it can also represent an opportunity for them to take “a big step in the right direction” and to “prove that we can trust them”. The concern of the royal family? Whether the Sussexes are using their coming to the jubilee for their Netflix report or the explosive memoir Prince Harry is about to release. Invited by Her Majesty for this very important event, the Sussexes appeared only briefly in front of the cameras and spent little time with the royal family. And they are warned: no discrepancy or confidence will be tolerated.
