The Sussex Foundation has released its first impact report. The fundraising for Harry and Meghan’s charity is worth millions of dollars. Quoted by the Daily Mail, Yahoo News columnist Omid Scobie revealed that Archewell has donated 23% of its revenue. Archewell Foundation was established in October 2020 by Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan Markle, 41, and has had its ups and downs, including the recent departure of two key staff. Still, in its first year, and according to the report dated Sunday, January 29, 2023, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s foundation raised more than $13 million.

The Sussex foundation used $3 million to donate to charities. Among other things, the generous sum of money donated was used to finance 12.66 million Covid-19 vaccines worldwide. Omid Scobie, one of the Sussexes’ favorite reporters according to the Daily Mail, tweeted: “In their first year in business they raised $13m and handed out $3m in grants.”

The money donated by the foundation of Archie and Lilibet’s parents has been used for many charities and social works. Besides the more than 12 million COVID vaccines, the Daily Mail also talks about an online guide. The guide in question aims to “promote gender equity by encouraging positive masculinity among boys and men”. It also aims to “challenge harmful gender stereotypes”. Archewell’s donations have been able to save more than 7,400 people from Afghanistan through a partnership with Human First Coalition. Some of the money also went to fund Antioch and Uvalde Children’s Playground, Meghan Markle’s projects.
