In Harry & Meghan, the couple demanded an apology from the British royal family
An unthinkable situation for the British royal family
The Windsors say they are taken aback

It is a new affront that the British royal family has a hard time digesting. Indeed, the Windsors would have been disconcerted to learn that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had demanded an apology from the royal family. And for good reason, the couple confides in the Netflix series, having tried to organize a meeting with family members following the broadcast of the series. Various sources then expressed themselves on this subject. “The king doesn’t want to get involved in a public tit for tat.” Royal expert Nigel Cawthorne told the newspaper: “It’s a bit daring after what they’ve done. For the king to offer any kind of conciliation would be below the dignity of the Crown. Harry doesn’t understand that his relationship with his father has changed. And don’t forget that we still have Harry’s book Spare coming out, so things are only going to get worse.”

The royal expert added that the viewing figures for the Harry & Meghan series “have been phenomenal”, but viewers have reportedly not appreciated the couple’s behavior. Reports also suggest Prince William has no plans to reach out to his brother after the revelations. In the Netflix series, Prince William claimed his brother left him “terrified” after he yelled at him during the Sandringham summit. Additionally, Meghan Markle’s husband also claimed that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother.”

Prince William very angry

A friend of William’s told The Times: “I don’t think much came as a real surprise to anyone. It’s pretty obvious that things have been very tense for some time. There’s sadness about the current situation with his brother. King Charles would take a reconciliatory approach to the situation with an invitation to his coronation on May 6 if they wish to attend.” Indeed, the Sussexes have not yet received an invitation for the coronation of King Charles III. The latter would also have the possibility of withdrawing the royal titles from Prince Harry. But Downing Street has confirmed that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak does not support such action.

Lilibet and Archie sidelined?

However, when Queen Elizabeth II died, the titles of all members of the royal family were updated. All except those of Archie and Lilibet. “On the Queen’s death, Harry’s children Archie and Lilibet, automatically grandchildren of the Sovereign, became HRH and Prince and Princess. So they have that now, but they haven’t been updated on the royal website with their new titles. They are still ‘Master and Miss’. “William and Kate’s new titles were instantly updated and I understand it was discussed with father and son when Harry was here and [Charles] said, ‘What do you want?’ , and [Harry] said: ‘I wish my children could decide their titles when they come of age, it’s not my decision to make for them. And we can only do that if we let’s keep the titles'”.
