The consequences of the Netflix series on Harry and Meghan are beginning to be felt. While the royal family has decided not to comment on the allegations present in the various episodes, a source close to the crown still wanted to give Prince William’s first reactions. The latter does not wish for the moment “to speak to his brother anymore”. Friends of William say the Prince of Wales has no plans to get in touch with Harry anytime soon after the accusations he leveled against members of the Royal Family in his latest Netflix tantrum, according to information from The Times.

Buckingham and Kensington Palaces have remained silent over Harry’s claims that the Prince of Wales left his brother terrified after yelling at him during the Sandringham summit. Harry also claimed in his controversial six-part series that Kensington Palace “lied to protect my brother” when he released a statement denying the story that William cut him out of the Royal Family. accused Charles of lying during the tense meeting with the Queen in January 2020, in connection with the Megxit crisis.

Harry and Meghan shouldn’t lose their titles

A friend of William’s told The Times: “I don’t think much has come as a real surprise to anyone. It’s obvious that events have been very tense for some time. There’s sadness to see where in are things with his brother”. Although he was hurt by these allegations, Charles reportedly took a reconciliatory approach to the situation by inviting his entire family to his coronation on May 6. The king would also not want to strip the Sussexes of their titles following the documentary, contrary to the latest rumors we have heard.

A poll taken after the release of the final episodes, commissioned by the Daily Express, showed that 62% of those polled believe Harry and Meghan should give up their royal titles. Only 25% said they should keep them and 13% said they didn’t know. Downing Street said Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was also not in favor of such action. Tory MP Bob Seely is seeking to amend the Deprivation of Titles Act 1917 to give the Privy Council the power to downgrade Harry and Meghan’s royal status. But without the support of the government, his efforts are in vain.
