But where did Amy Fitzpatrick go? Fifteen years after the disappearance of the teenager, on January 1, 2008 in Mijas Costa, this question could finally find its answer. According to the Daily Mirror, the aunt of the young disappeared, Christine Kenny, would have recently received a letter revealing the precise place where the body of Amy would be. The latter is said to be in stable number 5 of an old racecourse in Fuengirola, a town on the Costa del Sol. “We have already been given to understand that his body was buried in the stables. But now a letter informs us of the exact place where his body was thrown,” Christine Kenny told the British tabloid.
Although the case for the disturbing disappearance has always been at a standstill, the family of Amy Fitzpatrick today implores the Spanish authorities to explore the lead indicated in the letter. “It’s been 15 years since she disappeared and nothing is happening to find her, saddens the aunt of the teenager. We believe that something terrible happened to Amy and that she was killed the night of her birth. disappearance. We do not believe for one second that she ran away. We are certain that she was murdered and with this new information, the investigation should become a murder investigation.”
The teenager involved in drug trafficking?
For the time being, La Guardia Civil has not reacted to the request made by Amy’s family. Note that the circumstances of the disappearance of the teenager have never been fully defined. According to recent revelations from her mother, however, it is possible that Amy paid the price for a drug deal in which she took part. “I was told she was racing, revealed the latter to the Irish Mirror in December 2022. She received a hundred euros to sit in a car and look innocent. (… ) I didn’t know she was doing such things. (…) It could give answers, someone could know things and decide to come and talk about it.” For now, however, it is still unknown what happened to Amy Fitzpatrick that fateful night of December 1, 2008.
