Saturday, October 9, a plane was forced to evacuate its 78 passengers urgently, as reported by Le Parisien in its columns. For this, this Republic Airways plane came from Indianapolis and landed at La Guardia airport in New York, as planned. But “while exiting the active runway, the plane stopped on a taxiway and proceeded to an emergency evacuation as a precaution,” the company said. The reason ? The suspicious behavior of one of the passengers who was immediately arrested.

During the flight, a passenger denounced the suspicious behavior of her seatmate. She “said he had acted weird during the whole flight. She ended up getting up to go to the bathroom and took the opportunity to tell the pilot that something strange was happening,” testified another passenger from the plane. In this regard, the company did not wish to give an explanation of the behavior of the man in question. The New York airport authority also did not follow up immediately, as Le Parisien points out. But the behavior of the principal concerned must in any case be serious enough for him to be lying on the tarmac as soon as the plane was evacuated, and for him to be arrested and charged immediately.

So the end of our flight got interesting

This incident is far from an exception

The authorities nevertheless stressed that none of the passengers and crew were injured. Nothing dangerous was also on the plane, and “there is no reason to believe that there is any danger to New Yorkers.”

Rowdy passengers, flight attendants and stewarts see more than you might think. On August 3, a man literally found himself glued to his seat after hitting a crew member on a flight from Philadelphia to Miami. Visibly drunk during this trip, the passenger also assaulted two flight attendants by touching their chest.
