On April 18, while out for a walk with his adorable pet dog, the 34-year-old actor was photographed in the streets of Toronto, Canada, wearing a flannel shirt, sweatshirt black, rolled up jeans and cream-colored boots. He also wore a green backpack and a black protective mask, as is advised in times of a pandemic.
Since coming out trans on December 1, 2020, Elliot Page had not made any public appearances. He had nevertheless appeared on the front page of Time magazine, referring in particular to his journey as a transgender man and his fight for the Queer community. “My privileges allowed me to have the resources to go through all of this and get to where I am today”, he said in the columns of the American magazine. “And of course I want to use that privilege and my platform to help in any way I can. Elliot Page and Emma Portner divorce
On January 26, two months after his trans coming-out, the actor of Juno, X-Men and Inception announced his divorce from the Canadian Emma Portner, his wife since January 3, 2018. “After reflection and with a lot of Consideration, we have decided to make the decision to divorce after our separation this summer. We have the utmost respect for each other and remain very good friends, “Elliot Page and Emma Portner said in a joint statement. The divorce petition was filed by Elliot Page with the Supreme Court in Manhattan, New York.
