The UK is holding its breath. The state of health of Queen Elizabeth II is worrying. The sovereign canceled several of her recent official engagements. Which is rare. At 95, the queen is tired. Today, the question of his condition is on everyone’s lips. And of course, Prince Charles was no exception. Traveling in the Middle East with his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles, on Egyptian and Jordanian lands, Prince Charles has indulged in some confidences. Prince Charles told Sky News: “When you reach 95, it’s not as easy as it used to be. Already it’s not easy at 73.” A very British humor, which certainly made his interlocutors smile.
A reassuring appearance by Queen Elizabeth II
Queen Elizabeth II spent a night in hospital last October. On November 14, during Remembrance Sunday, Elizabeth II was forced to decline her participation because of back problems. Thus, a wreath had been laid at the cenotaph memorial in the name of the queen by her eldest son, Prince Charles. Two days later, Elizabeth II canceled her participation in the General Synod, the National Assembly of the Church of England.
We had to wait until mid-November to finally see her again. On November 17, she appeared standing in Oak Room at Windsor Castle with British Chief of Staff Nick Carter. This meeting is important since it is the first engagement of the sovereign in person since her hospitalization on October 20, 2021.
