Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, 40, is planning to leave his home in Rosarito, Mexico for England. Prince Harry’s stepfather, 37, is planning to travel to London in June to attend the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Queen Elizabeth II of England, 96. Thomas Markle, 77, was not invited to Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018. Since then, the tension between the couple and the Markle patriarch has been very palpable. Like Prince Charles, Mr Markle has yet to see his grandchildren, Archie, 2, and Lilibet, 10 months. In his interview with Dan Wootton on GB News dated April 25, 2022, we see Thomas Markle make some surprising statements.
Thomas Markle believes he and Prince Charles have a lot in common. He said during the interview that he would like to meet Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, 73. “I would like to meet Prince Charles and thank him for walking my daughter down the aisle, but also meet him and talk to him because I think we have a lot in common now. We’ve both been pushed aside by our children,” he said. Thomas Markle also made a statement about the respect and attachment he has for the royal family. He made a point of saying that his family respects the Queen and the members of the royal family. However, the stepfather of Queen Elizabeth II’s grandson has given her yet another harsh criticism.
For Thomas Markle, Harry is an “idiot”, “a child” and “a wimp”
Thomas Markle has revealed he will be attending Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in a bid to reconnect with Harry and Meghan, according to the Daily Mail. However, in his words, the maternal grandfather of Archie and Lilibet does not fail to send spades against the Duke of Sussex. “I think he’s an idiot,” he said, commenting on Harry fearing for his safety in the UK. He also called the Duke of Sussex a child who follows Meghan everywhere. “He’s like a kid. He follows my daughter everywhere like a kid. He’s not a man. You can tell me he was in the army but, I can’t believe it. is kind of a weakling and always will be,” he said.
