This is a first in the history of the royal family. The double royal baptism of Lucas, son of Zara and Mike Tindall and August, son of Princess Eugenie, took place on Sunday, November 21. The former rugby player, 43, proudly shared some details of the baptism in a podcast. The double baptism took place in a very private ceremony in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II. The baptism was conducted by Canon Martin Poll, chaplain of Great Windsor Park. The ceremony took place in All Saints Chapel, a Grade-II listed church, the Mirror said.
In his podcast titled The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, Mike Tindall talks about a “beautiful day” everyone had. Speaking to co-presenter Alex Payne, the former rugby player said he had a “great weekend”. He added, “We had the baptism on Sunday, it was lovely. It was a beautiful day.” Alex Payne then asked Mike Tindall if his son enjoyed “his dip in the holy water of his baptism”. “He actually did. I took him swimming in the morning, I think I prepared him for it, he was quite impatient,” Zara’s husband replies.

Queen Elizabeth II was pictured leaving the chapel sporting a lime green hat. Mike Tindall arrived at the scene wearing a blazer while his wife Zara opted for a black outfit. For their part, Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack have also opted for elegance. Princess Eugenie opted for a white silk dress with embroidery. She sported a necklace with blue pendants. For his part, Jack appeared with a navy blue suit, chic and royal.
