Elizabeth II is looking for new talents! On the professional social network LinkedIn, Buckingham Palace published a job offer aimed at recruiting the Royal Family’s new communications assistant. For an annual salary of £ 27,000, or around 30,600 euros, the recruited candidate will be integrated into Human Resources at Buckingham Palace and will have the main mission “to manage all aspects of communication with employees”. According to the job description, the new assistant will play a key role in what is a pivotal time for the royal family.
“On a daily basis, you will be responsible for managing our social intranet to make it an essential platform for all our employees,” says the job posting. “You will coordinate news and write content, support local editors and demonstrate great technical know-how. You will also use the analytics tool to drive engagement and be a source of ideas for our future development.” The chosen candidate will also take charge of communication around internal activities and annual company events.

Still according to the LinkedIn offer, the communications assistant will also be responsible for managing Buckingham Palace’s external communications. “We attach great importance to our external audience, to whom we must explain who we are and what our business is in order to attract new talent. In its candidate, the royal family is looking for both technical expertise, a certain creative flair and experience in filming and video editing. To date, 74 candidates have already responded to the job offer. Applications are accepted until February 7.
