In a few days, Drew Barrymore will be celebrating his forty-sixth birthday. While many personalities have already resorted to cosmetic surgery very early, the actress has revealed that she will never succumb to cosmetic surgery. On her show The Drew Barrymore Show, the star explained, “I’ve never done anything to my face and I would like to try not to do it. But never say never.” Confident of herself, Drew Barrymore went on to say that she did not want to start getting injections that would alter her natural appearance. “What is close to my heart and which always seems relevant in my life is the face. I know myself. I am a very addictive person. I am giving an injection, I will look like Jocelyn Wildenstein by Friday” , she said, mentioning the famous socialite known for her cosmetic surgery operations.
While she has been the victim of many addictions, Drew Barrymore explained, “I think because I’m so rebellious I’ve seen all this pressure and I’ve seen all these women torturing themselves to look like they are. ‘a way and I thought,’ You are miserable. ‘ I never wanted to be afraid of what life would do to me. I probably went to too many opposites. Now I’m boring, safe and healthy. ” The actress then assured that her best advice was to let go: “We’re going to get old, things will go down, and it’s good, it’s part of life. I feel more human and more vulnerable, every year, to my life, but I also know how to appreciate it more and more every year. “
A star at ease
In 2019, it was during an interview with Glamor that Drew Barrymore revealed his decision to avoid plastic surgery, likening it to heroin. She said then: “I have the impression that these are two very slippery slopes. I feel that if I try one or the other, I will be dead very soon.” Instead of resorting to cosmetic surgery, the star, who launched her own line of cosmetics, Flower Beauty, in 2013, is leveraging the power of makeup. Comfortable about herself, the actress explained: “Not bothering my face or chasing unnatural beauty is the way I see it. I have dark circles under my eyes. I was recently at my dermatologist who m ‘said,’ Can I give you some Juvederm injections up there? It’ll lift the skin and it won’t be so sunken. ‘ And I said, ‘No, but I’m going to go home and start putting highlighter in front of my eyes, so thanks for the tip!’ “
