Dr Dre: the famous rapper in intensive care after a ruptured aneurysm

Big fear for Dr Dre. On Monday, January 4, the rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after a ruptured aneurysm, reports TMZ. Placed in an intensive care unit, it seems that there was more fear than harm for the musician, whose representatives quickly made it clear that he was “lucid” and that he “is recovering well”. In stable condition, he has been tested extensively and appears to be completely out of danger.

The musician did not wait long before giving his own news, which is however somewhat reassuring. “Thank you to my family, friends and fans for their interest and good wishes. I am doing very well and receiving excellent care from my medical service”, wrote Dr Dre on Instagram, adding that he was “going to leave the hospital soon and come home”. “Well done to all the great healthcare professionals at Cedars. One Love,” he concluded.

Dr Dre divorced after 24 years of marriage

A funny way to start the year 2021 for Dr Dre who in 2020 experienced a real upheaval in his personal life: his divorce with Nicole Young. After 24 years of marriage, the latter has indeed requested a divorce because of incompatible daily newspapers, and claimed a pension which will be directly paid to her, in particular because of the age of her children, Truice, born in 1997 and Truly, born in 2001, “too big” to receive alimony. An agreement accepted by the rapper, who however refused to proceed to an equal division of goods, in particular of his colossal fortune estimated at 800 million dollars, thus making him the fourth richest rapper in the world behind P. Diddy, Jay -Z or Kanye West.
