If you like to test all the eccentricities under the duvet, you have to be careful not to put yourself in danger. Indeed, certain positions could represent a danger. On TikTok, Dr. Karan Raj revealed the sex position that was the most responsible for penile fractures. The British doctor is very popular on the social network for his medical advice in the form of videos.

According to him, it is the so-called “reverse cowgirl” position that you should be wary of to avoid penile fractures. In this position, the woman straddles the man but rather than facing her partner, she sits with her back to him and looks towards his feet. “If there is an erratic thrust or if the movements of the two parts are not synchronized, the penis could slip and be crushed by the female pubic bone,” summarizes Dr. Raj.

The penis looks like an “eggplant”

A position that could even make the penis look like “an eggplant” according to the doctor. “Despite being boneless, the penis can break… over-enthusiastic sex could leave your penis looking like an eggplant,” Dr. Raj completes in his TikTok video. Between 2000 and 2013, a study looked at cases of penile fractures. The patients then indicated in which sexual position they were. According to this study, the doggy style was then the second most dangerous position since 28.6% of patients were practicing it at the time of their accident.

“Our hypothesis is that when the woman is on top, she usually controls the movement by resting the full weight of her body on the erect penis (…). On the contrary, when the man controls the movement, he has a better chance of stopping penetration in response to pain from injury to the penis, and therefore minimizes it, ”the study summarized.
