It has been three days since he gave any sign of life. Roger Morin, 75, disappeared on Friday February 17, 2023 after leaving his home in Malansac, in Morbihan, around 4:30 p.m. Searches were immediately launched in the region, with the presence of a dog handler and a helicopter from Rennes, but this “did not make it possible to find” the septuagenarian for the moment, indicated the gendarmerie du Morbihan in a facebook post broadcast on Saturday February 18. Eighty people notably participated in a pedestrian search “supervised by the gendarmerie”, without result.

If the gendarmes are particularly worried about this disappearance, it is because the septuagenarian would not have on him any document likely to allow anyone to identify him. “He is not carrying any telephone or identity document”¸ specifies the call for witnesses issued the day after his disappearance.

According to the description provided by his relatives, Roger Morin is 1.70 meters tall, has gray hair, a beard, and wears glasses. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a navy blue checkered jacket, jeans type trousers and black shoes. The Allaire gendarmerie brigade encourages anyone likely to have information that could help the investigation progress to dial 17 or 02.99.71.91.01. For the time being, the authorities are not ruling out any leads.
