They still have not given any sign of life. Leslie Hoorelbeke and Kevin Trompat have been missing since November 26, 2022. But now, on December 8, a young woman discovered the identity papers and clothes belonging to the couple. She then returns to this discovery. “I found two pairs of Lacoste brand shoes, Lacoste slides, a gray jogging set and jogging bottoms. There were also new Doc Marteens ankle boots, a pair of heeled evening shoes, a cotton tank top, silk, light blue trousers, black trousers stained with paint and a pair of shoes with holes in them with paint on them…. There was also a construction spatula, a make-up bag, a hairbrush and a purse. I put everything in a bag.”

She will then open the young man’s purse and will realize that the things she found belong to him. “I looked on the Internet. I had a big blow of stress when I saw the photo of Kévin Trompat and the disappearance alert”, explains the employee. She then alerted the police. The woman believes the couple’s belongings had recently been deposited in the container, as “there was nothing on top of their belongings”.

She also describes that she would have witnessed a “suspicious” vehicle. “An old cream-colored van, with tinted windows in the back. It passed twice on the street and was driving like crazy.” This witness returns to what she discovered. “There were four unfired shotgun shells. One in Leslie’s clothes, one in Kevin’s clothes and two in Lacoste shoes.”
