Demi Lovato is once again a heart to take! Two months after her engagement to Max Ehrich, the 28-year-old singer made the difficult decision to quit the comedian and call off their engagement. While Max Ehrich asked for the hand of the ex-Disney star after only four months of relationship, several sources now claim that the two stars had been in conflict for several weeks. And for good reason, Demi Lovato would have learned that Max Ehrich was using his notoriety to become a star in Hollywood. A relative of the singer told People: “It was very hurtful for Demi when she realized that Max’s intentions were not sincere. Breaking up their engagement was not an easy decision.”
Another close to Nick Jonas’ ex-best friend explained that the couple may have cut corners: “Demi and Max were really together 24/7 for months. They lived in a stress free bubble and it was all just fun. ” Things would have started to change when the comedian left Los Angeles to join Atlanta where he was expected on the set of a movie: “Max became famous, and it was hard. He got carried away dreaming of Hollywood. ” If Demi Lovato had supported her ex-fiancé when fake Tweets hit the headlines, it would appear according to a relative that she began to believe that Max Ehrich “was really trying to advance his career by using his name behind his back.” Thanks to the support of those close to her, the star is doing well and sees the breakup as a good thing. A relative, however, said: “It was difficult for Demi to admit that she had made a mistake when it came to Max.”
The star’s new song, is it about her ex-fiancé?
This Wednesday, September 30, 2020, it is a few days after the breakdown of her engagement that Demi Lovato released a new song, Still Have Me. According to TMZ, the pretty brunette would have written the latter some time ago, but would have changed the lyrics so that they reflect his separation from Max Ehrich. In the latter, the star sings: “I feel like someone has been robbed / All the light I’ve ever had” and “Everything around me has shattered / All the highs are right now. stockings / But it doesn’t matter / Because I prefer to be alone. ”
