As People reports, little Josey has indeed told investigators that before dying, his mother jumped into the water with him after counting to three. Once in the water, Naya Rivera helped her son back on the boat, before he heard her cry out “help”. “She put her arm in the air. She then disappeared into the water,” says the investigation report, which also indicates that while the actress was in good health, she had a history of dizziness “which s ‘worsened when she was in the water.
