Death of Kenzo Takada: Anne Hidalgo, Laeticia Hallyday … the tributes multiply

The world pays homage to Kenzo Takada. The Japanese fashion designer died Sunday, October 4 at the age of 81, from the coronavirus. Celebrities and show business stars have paid a vibrant tribute to the man who invented the tiger brand known around the world. “Goodbye Kenzo. Infinite sadness and eternal respect,” writes Laëtitia Hallyday. “I remember those moments frozen in time … I was in Thailand. So many beautiful memories and you were part of them”, writes the wife of rocker Johnny Hallyday. Actress Tonya Kinzinger shared her sadness, “I’m so sad to hear of the passing of @kenzotakada_official tonight, a brilliant man who spread the zest for life around him.”

“Paris mourns one of her sons”

Nikos Aliagas hailed him a “fashion legend”. Kenzo Takada died at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine.
