The husband of Charles III’s niece felt frustrated during the coronation ceremony.
The coronation of King Charles III of England and Queen Camilla took place at Westminster Abbey on May 6, 2023. Prince William and Kate Middleton as well as Charlotte and Louis, their two younger brothers were in the front row , closest to the altar. Prince George himself entered into history by being one of the Pages of the King of England. Prince Harry, 38, who traveled from California to attend only the coronation, was placed third. The plan of placement by order of succession was not applied, otherwise he would have been placed in the same rank as his brother, the future king of England.

Prince Harry sat alongside Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Mike and Zara Tindall were placed even further from the altar, behind Prince Harry. This location would not have pleased the 44-year-old former rugby star very much, reports Hello! magazine. In the corner where he ended up with his wife Zara Phillips, Mike Tindall says he was hot and couldn’t see anything. “You’re in the hottest corner, but everything happens in the corner, where you can’t see!” Says Mike Tindall- in his podcast The Good, The Bad and The Rugby.

This does not mean that the former rugby player is ungrateful. “It was amazing to be sitting there, but frustrating”, nuance Mike Tindall on his remarks. He and his wife Zara Tindall, he said, had to content themselves with following the ceremony on a screen hung on one of the pillars of the abbey. If the ceremony was not very edifying for the Tindall couple, remember that they enjoyed a romantic evening until early morning the day before the coronation of Charles III.
