“I sometimes have a lot of difficulty walking and I can’t always use my vocal cords to sing as I would like,” Celine Dion revealed to the camera on December 8. On December 24, Celine Dion also wished her fans a Merry Christmas. “I wish you love, happiness, and above all, lots of health,” the singer announced in a short video. While she has been dealing with her health problems for a long time, another hard blow comes to add to it for Celine Dion. Rolling Stone magazine dropped the singer’s name from its list of the 100 Greatest Singers of 2008.

Celine Dion is no longer “a great singer”

Rolling Stone magazine has updated its list of the 100 greatest singers. The new list is dubbed the 200 Greatest Singers of All Time and Celine Dion is not on it, the Daily Mail reported on January 2, 2023. Despite her powerful and technical vocals, and her very impressive track records and numerous world records, Celine Dion is not one of the singers appearing on the new Rolling Stone list. And for good reason, many other criteria have been taken into account. These new criteria have resulted in many rock’n’roll, rock and pop singers appearing on the list. Many fans were offended by this choice of the magazine.
