Princess Amalia made her public debut alongside King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. The royal family attended a meeting of the State Council at the Binnenhof in downtown The Hague. This the day after the princess’ 18th birthday. Celebrated on December 7, 2021, the birthday of the future queen of the Netherlands was marked by this entry into public life. In fact, the Dutch royal family had announced that they would be given an honorary seat on the council.
Note that the advisory council forms the highest general administrative jurisdiction in the country. In particular, it provides independent advice to the government as well as to parliament on the country’s governance and legislation. Of course, King Willem-Alexander has a seat on the council although he does not participate in any of its activities. As for the Queen of the Netherlands, Maxima, she also has a seat there, but exclusively plays an advisory role.
Princess Amalia of the Netherlands looked majestic for this first outing
Like her mother who is a true royal fashion icon, Princess Amalia was simply majestic at this event. In particular, she had chosen a blue chiffon dress adorned with delicate white flowers. This is a LaDress by Simone dress. She had paired this dress with an elegant navy blue coat. As a hairstyle, she opted for a bouncy brushing for her beautiful blonde hair. To top it off, Princess Amalia wore a gold necklace with the initial of her first name.
Of course, Queen Maxima was not unworthy in terms of elegance. She had chosen a structured dress in fuchsia coat associated with an oversized purple suede belt. As accessories, she had chosen a matching leather bag and gloves as well as a pair of pearl earrings. True to herself, the Queen paired this look with an oversized fuchsia hat adorned with a floral design.
