No other suspects in the Gabby Petito case

According to the FBI, “The investigation has not identified anyone other than Brian Laundrie who is directly involved in Gabby Petito’s death.” The federal agency also indicated that Brian Laundrie “attempted to deceive law enforcement by giving the impression that Miss Petito was still alive”. He had thus wanted to fool the authorities by continuing to maintain a conversation by message between his phone and that of his girlfriend, who had since died. He had also used the young woman’s credit card to return to her parents in Florida.

As a reminder, the body of Gabby Petito was found on September 19 near Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. According to the medical examiner in charge of her autopsy, the influencer died from “blunt-force injuries to the head and neck with manual strangulation”. A few months before, in July 2021, Gabby Petito and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie had left New York for a road trip in the American West. A journey that the couple did not hesitate to share on social networks, through photos and videos.
