Carlos Marín was 53 when he took his last breath after an intense battle with the coronavirus. Indeed, according to information from the British tabloid The Sun, the singer contracted the viral disease on December 7, 2021 before being placed in an artificial coma in the intensive care unit of the Royal Hospital in Manchester. The Spanish star ultimately did not survive this struggle and left. “We have shared the incredible Il Divo adventure together for 17 years, and our dear friend will be missed,” added the members of the group Il Divo in their first press release. “We hope and pray that this beautiful soul may rest in peace.”
