Camilla Parker Bowles and Charles III attend an important celebration in Colchester.
The royal couple received flowers and gifts, a perfect day apart from the presence of a few protesters.
The Queen Consort pulled out the perfect winter look for the occasion.
Camilla Parker Bowles, the 75-year-old queen consort, looked particularly radiant at Colchester Castle. King Charles III of England, 74, and his wife made the trip to meet local communities and organizations in the city. Colchester officially became a city in November last year, a Daily Mail article from March 7, 2023 recalls. The city status was awarded during the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II of England, says the British media. On the occasion of this visit to Colchester, Queen Camilla Parker Bowles opted for a winter outfit that she has never worn before.

Walking alongside King Charles III, the Queen Consort looks radiant. Camilla Parker Bowles wears a long coat with a cream-coloured collar and a flared bottom. Follower of chic and efficient looks, the wife of Charles of England has accessorized her coat with a beige scarf with animal print. To cover her head, Camilla Parker Bowles opted for a brown hat with wide brims made of fur. To display the perfect contrast, the mother-in-law of Princes William and Harry paired her look with a pair of black leather gloves and had a black leather clutch bag on her hand. Camilla Parker Bowles’ winter chic look couldn’t be perfect without her pair of black suede heeled boots and pearl earrings.
Camilla Parker Bowles and Charles III: the queen consort and the king of England were very well received
The day of King Charles III and Camilla Parker Bowles in Colchester was generally spent in good spirits, apart from a few demonstrators. One of the highlights of Charles and Camilla’s visit was seeing Colchester Zoo’s newest baby. The zoo has just welcomed a baby white rhino named “Dara”, which means “beautiful” in Swahili. As King Charles III of England unveiled the easel where the name of the baby white rhinoceros is inscribed, a town crier rang a bell. “Oyez, oyez, oyez! I officially proclaim the new arrival of Colchester Zoo as baby Dara,” he shouted while King Charles III of England chuckled.
