This is an adorable video that fans of the British royal family were able to discover this Wednesday, December 9. Camilla Parker Bowles attended the opening of a kennel, the Dogs & Cats Home Battersea, in England. The royal event was shared on Prince Charles and his wife’s official Twitter account. On the adorable video, we see the Duchess of Cornwall hugging her dog, an adorable Jack Russell named Beth. Only when the establishment’s plaque is unveiled, it is not the Duchess who sticks to it, but her dog!
Camilla Parker Bowles is standing, and her dog removes the sheet that is on the kennel plate. To help the adorable little furball, a sausage had been hidden and placed on it. “Everything has been coordinated with care,” a royal staff member told Vanity Fair. “Everyone is going to think you were never fed,” the Duchess joked. “With a little help from Her Royal Highness, Beth unveils a plaque to inaugurate the new facilities at @Battersea_,” the post’s caption read.
A well chosen mask!
During her visit to the animal refuge, the wife of Prince Charles met and discussed with the staff of the establishment, to thank them for all their work, especially during the health crisis. For this new official release, Camilla Parker Bowles had bet a green wool coat, accessorized with a brooch signed Van Cleef & Arpels. To complete her look, she chose a fabric mask with printed dog paws. As The Express points out, Beth is one of the royal couple’s two dogs, along with Bluebell. Both were rescued and adopted into a kennel nine years ago.
