For several years, Britney Spears has left her fans abandoned. Without a new album or single from their idol, they are also helpless in the face of the coronavirus which, for the time being, is eradicating any hope of a performance by their favorite artist. Some therefore wonder if the international popstar could one day return to the stage, putting an end to his professional parenthesis. The Womanizer interpreter said it all in a recent question-and-answer session with her admirers, revealed on her Instagram account.
So, will Britney Spears come back on stage? The answer will disappoint more than one: just like his fans, the 39-year-old star is in the dark. “I have no idea,” she said, “I’m having fun right now. I’m in the midst of a transition in my life and I’m having fun. So there you go.” The last record of the companion of Sam Asghari dates back to 2016 and she has not given any performance on stage since October 2018. After a successful first residency in Las Vegas, she had however promised a return under the name of Britney Domination. But her father’s failing health forced her to give it up.
How is Britney Spears doing?
This same residence has been at the heart of speculation around the singer’s well-being. According to a source close to Britney Spears, the star’s father simply had the show canceled because his daughter did not want to take her medication (she is said to be suffering from dementia, an allegation she strongly denies). Because, as a reminder, the main concerned remains under the tutelage of her father, James Parnell Spears. The #FreeBritney movement was thus born. Britney Spears now wants to regain control of her life and will therefore have the opportunity to speak in Los Angeles court on June 23, 2021.
