No one had noticed his disappearance. The body of a man in an advanced state of decomposition was found in a hotel room in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland, on September 16, 2022. According to information from the newspaper Le Matin, it was the police who made the macabre discovered by pushing the door. The man had rented this room for a long stay, expressly asking that the cleaning lady not come. He didn’t want to be disturbed. “As a result, his death was not noticed for a long time,” said the criminal authorities, who do not reveal the exact location of the establishment where the body was found.
The man was violently murdered
The local daily specifies that it is in the district of Baden. The identity of the victim was confirmed following several analyzes by forensic doctors. According to the autopsy report, the man was violently murdered. An investigation has been opened to find the murderer. Two men aged 23 and 24, one of Romanian nationality, the other of German origin, were quickly arrested. “The victim and the two men knew each other,” authorities said, quoted by the daily Le Matin. Pending their trial, the two suspects were placed in detention following their police custody. In 2018, workers discovered the remains of a corpse in a car on a sandbank of the Aare in Brugg, in the same Swiss canton of Aargau. The body was that of a 73-year-old man who had been missing since 2001.
