Ashli Babbitt, ex-soldier and fervent supporter of Donald Trump
The victim’s name was Ashli Babbitt and was a strong supporter of President Donald Trump. The latter lived in the San Diego area of southern California with her husband, who described her as “a determined supporter of President Trump” on a local channel. According to the same source, Ashli Babbitt was in the military for 14 years and had made four deployments with the US Air Force. The American presented herself on her Twitter account as a “veteran” and “libertarian”. She had recently shared messages from people going to Washington to demonstrate at Donald Trump’s call. Ashli Babbitt also wrote on the social network: “Nothing will stop us … They can try, try and try, but the storm is here and it is descending on (Washington) DC in less than 24 hours … From dark to the light !”
Three other people, a woman and two men, also died around Capitol Hill in a “separate medical emergency,” the Washington police chief said, without giving further details or saying if they were participants to demonstrations.
