Trouble ahead for Arnold Schwarzenegger? This Saturday, January 22, the American actor was involved in a road accident in Pacific Palisades, a district of Los Angeles (California). According to several local media, the accident occurred around 4:35 p.m. local time (1:35 a.m. in Paris) at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue, less than two kilometers from the home of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who was not injured.
But the same cannot be said for the driver of the second vehicle involved in the accident. The latter, who suffered from minor injuries, was taken directly to the nearest hospital by the emergency services, which were quickly dispatched to the scene. In photos released by TMZ, the former California governor can be seen on the side of the road, chatting with passers-by. Behind him, his SUV is embedded in another car, the bumper of which was completely destroyed by the impact.
Arnold Schwarzenegger allegedly ran a red light
While an investigation was opened by the local police, the first elements of the Los Angeles Fire Department indicate that Arnold Schwarzenegger would be guilty: the Terminator actor would have run a red light just before the collision. For the moment, the latter has not yet received a report. Investigations are still ongoing to determine his degree of involvement in this event, which could have been fatal.
