The most famous royal couple, or former royal couple, made a rare appearance more than noticed during the Invictus Games, which began this Saturday, April 16.
On the occasion of the opening ceremony, Meghan and Harry both spoke and did not fail to move the assembly. Meghan, who spoke first, called her husband on stage after making a very beautiful declaration of love. It was with tears in his eyes that Prince Harry joined her, more in love than ever. The young dad also opened up to the public at the Invictus Games by talking about his family life, and more particularly the dreams of his eldest son, Archie.
“Nothing would make his mother and I more proud”
It is with humor and kindness that the prince revealed the biggest dreams of little Archie, who will soon be celebrating his 3rd birthday: “When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some c he’s an astronaut, other days he’s a pilot, a helicopter pilot obviously. Or Kwazii from the Octonauts. If you laugh, you’ve seen it.” said Prince Harry, before continuing: “But what I remind him is that whatever you want to be when you grow up, it’s your character that matters most, and nothing would make his mother and I prouder than seeing him have the character of what we see before us today.”
A beautiful message that takes us further into the intimacy of the couple, with a small glimpse of the education filled with love that he gives to his children. A message of tolerance, above all, ambition and understanding.
During their two respective speeches, Meghan and Harry delivered as they rarely do, and moved the audience of the Invictus Games as rarely. As the founder of these games, Prince Harry invests a lot of his time in each edition to meet the participants and discuss with them. A value worthy of the royal family, which probably did not leave him.
