After the American actor Sean Penn, it is the turn of Angelina Jolie to go to Ukraine to support the people, daily affected by the Russian strikes. On Saturday April 30, the actress and ex-wife of Brad Pitt was seen in a cafe in the city of Lviv, western Ukraine.

Journalist Maya Pidhoretska, present in the café when Angelina Jolie arrived, immortalized the scene before sharing it on social networks. “Nothing special. Just Lviv. I just went for a coffee. Just Angelina Jolie. Ukraine is simply supported by the whole world” she wrote in Ukrainian in the caption of the video quickly shared by many media .

Dressed in very simple clothes and a black backpack, the Eternals actress signs several autographs before waving at the journalist. Only one person misses this unreal moment: it’s a young boy, glued to his phone who hasn’t even noticed the star.

Angelina Jolie, very committed to humanitarian causes

Angelina Jolie’s visit to Ukraine is not really a surprise when you know how committed the 46-year-old woman is to humanitarian causes. In 2013, for example, she received the Jean Hersholt humanitarian prize for her daily work. In addition to working for the protection of nature and animals, the mother of six children is particularly active in helping the cause of refugees. She regularly travels to countries such as Yemen, Burkina Faso and Venezuela to provide support to populations.

At the end of March, Angelina Jolie traveled to Rome, Italy. She had visited the Bambino Gesu pediatric hospital to meet Ukrainian children who had fled the war. If the reason for her trip to Ukraine has not yet been revealed, it is very likely that she will be there to provide her support again.
