Friday, June 4, 2021, it is in a series of videos posted on Instagram that the 37-year-old actress revealed that she had been operated on earlier this week and that she was finally returning home. Despite this ordeal, the pretty blonde remained in a good mood and made jokes throughout her posts! In a first video, she shared with humor: “There is really no filter that will improve things for me now!”
More seriously, Kirsten Storms explained: “So I haven’t really talked about it or at all actually. Less than 48 hours ago, I had brain surgery, hence the neck brace, c ‘was in the lower part of my brain. ” Referring to her friend and former play partner, Emme Rylan, the comedian added, “Em takes care of me until I get to my home nurse.” After explaining that the last few days had been interesting, the ex-star of the Days of our Lives series went on to explain that the operation was performed to remove a very large cyst that had split in two. “What they had to drain and remove was not cancer – I want to make it clear now before the internet went crazy over rumors about it. I had a really large cyst that had split in half. and the doctor said it was so full that the pressure was very noticeable when they opened my skull, ”she explained.
Kirsten Storms is on the mend
As for her convalescence, the actress indicated that she planned to take several weeks off before returning to the film sets: “So I’ll be in good shape for the next few weeks, but I’ll be back to work when it’s over. I feel like crap. Forgive my language, but I think I deserved it today. So, yeah, we’ll take me home. ” To conclude, Kirsten Storms added: “I had the surgery a few days ago, so yes, I was in the hospital for a few days.”
