Young Tik Tok influencer Mahek Bukhari, 22, and her mother Ansreen Bukhari, 45, are charged with the murders of Hashim Ijazuddin, 21, and Saqib Hussain, 20. The pair, who are cousins, were killed in the A46 crash in Leicestershire. According to the Daily Mail, the accident took place around 1.30am on Friday February 11. The silver Skoda Fabia that Hashim was driving had left the road to crash into the central reservation of the A46. According to the Leicestershire Police statement, both men died at the scene.
Leicestershire Police are also talking about the involvement of two other cars in the accident. “According to initial investigations, two other cars were traveling in the area at the time of the collision: a gray Audi TT and a blue Seat Leon,” police said. There is also talk of a car that caught fire in the crash. On Tuesday, February 15, three other people besides the young Tik Tok star and his mother were charged over the deaths of Hashim and Saqib. They are Natasha Akhtar, 21, from Birmingham, Raees Jamal, 21, and Rekan Karwan, 28, from Leicester.
Hashim was just doing his cousin a favor
Sikander Hayat, 49, Hashim’s father, has made touching statements about his son. For him, Hashim was his favorite son. “Hashim was my favorite son, he was a beautiful soul, and I feel blessed by Allah to have been 21 with him,” he told the Mail Online. He also said his son drove his extremely depressed cousin Saqib to a friend’s house. According to his father, Hashim did not know the friend he was supposed to take his cousin to.
