This sordid story relayed by The Sun took place at Little Bridge Farm, in Hastings. A perverse, psychopathic killer killed two women six months apart. They are Mark Brown, 41, who killed Leah Ware, 33, and Alexandra Morgan, 34. After killing his second victim, Mark Brown burned his body in an oil drum near a dumpster. This is how the police discovered fragments of bones and burnt teeth. As for Leah Ware’s body, it was never found.
At Hove Crown Court, jurors heard the two wives and mothers worked as prostitutes and had met Mark Brown on adultwork.com. “Leah Ware’s personal life was difficult before she became involved with the defendant. She was addicted to drugs and had a number of mental health issues,” Judge Nicholas Hilliard had said. As for Alexandra Morgan, she met Mark Brown in May 2021. The latter had made her believe that they had a relationship together. Last October, Mark Brown even offered Alexandra Morgan a job where she could earn £100,000.
Mark Brown was sentenced to life in prison
Mark Brown was sentenced to life in prison with a minimum sentence of 49 years by Hove Crown Court. When the verdict was announced, the families of the two victims shouted “Yes” before spontaneously applauding. “No sentence that I pronounce is commensurate with the lives that have been lost. No sentence can repair what the accused has done. It is not possible,” said the judge. “Brown did not appear in court today, which shows that his conscience is not troubled by what he did,” he added when the verdict was announced.
