According to CBC News, the 32-year-old star’s agent said he “died in his sleep.” For the moment, the exact cause is not yet known and could be revealed in the coming days.
The family of Nick Nemeroff wanted to speak on the comedian’s Instagram account to officially indicate his death. “It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother Nick Nemeroff. (…) Tirelessly gentle, supportive of others, modest about his many skills and accomplishments, Nick lived his life doing what he loved, and that’s how he will be remembered. RIP Nick. We love you,” they wrote.

Comedian for several years, Nick Nemeroff was a young man full of ambition. In 2018, he had no hesitation in traveling to the United States to participate in the Conan O’Brien show. He then performed on several major stages and participated in comedy festivals around the world. The 32-year-old man had not, for example, visited the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal or the international comedy festival in Melbourne, Australia.
Recently, the comedian had been talked about thanks to his nomination for the Juno Awards 2021. This is a ceremony rewarding the best Canadian artists. He had been nominated in the category of best comedy album for his project “The Pursuit of Comedy Has Ruined My Life”. Following the death of Nick Nemeroff, many personalities such as comedians Mae Martin and Steph Toley wanted to pay tribute to him.
