In all, Carlos traveled 180 miles from London. He was able to stay with a friend of his in Brecon Beacons. Carlos and Monty have already explored mountains there.
Carlos, a hotelier by profession, knew that Monty was not fit to climb Pen-Y-Fan Peak. That’s why he decided to push the 10-year-old dog in a wheelbarrow. Friends have also lent a hand by also pushing the wheelbarrow.
