Hard of hearing since birth due to hearing problems, Jesse Russell is forced to wear a hearing aid. A handicap that is not always easy to bear on a daily basis. Fortunately, the 7-year-old Briton, who lives in Walsall in the UK, is a brave little guy. “Jesse has had partial hearing loss since birth, but he never let it get in his way. He’s always smiling,” his dad, Brad, told Metro UK. To support his little one, the 31-year-old man did not hesitate to get a hearing aid tattoo. A strong gesture!

To understand, you have to go back a few years. At the time, Brad promised Jesse to get the famous tattoo, which sits above his left ear: “He kept asking me when I was going to do it. I decided to go for it and get [a hearing aid] for life, the same as him.” The dad therefore kept his word and this, to the delight of his son. The latter also loved the surprise: “He was very shocked when he saw it but also very happy. He said ‘I love it. It’s funny dad’. ” But let’s face it, the 30-something does not intend to stop there…

Brad hopes his story will get wide media exposure. The reason ? He now wants to fulfill Jesse’s dream: to meet Phil Foden and Jack Grealish, his two favorite football players. “He is a Manchester City fan. We went to the Etihad Stadium several times to try to meet them, but we were unlucky,” laments the dad. Despite everything, he does not lose hope of making this beautiful gift to his offspring: “He is the most adorable little boy in the world. He has never once complained about his disability. He is part of me. I’m extremely proud of him.”
