The shooting at Robb Primary School in Uvalde is a horror that cannot be described in words. A 9-year-old child, who survived the shooting, still found the strength to tell what he lived in this hell. This child was in class when Salvador Ramos was attacked. He said the kids were watching Disney to celebrate the end of the school year. This is where the gunfire started. “When I heard the shot through the door, I told my friend to hide under something. That way he won’t find us,” he said. “He came in, he crouched down a bit and he said, ‘It’s time to die’,” the 9-year-old added.

It should be remembered that 21 people died there, including 19 children aged 7 to 10. Many parents are pointing the finger at the police following this tragedy. They accuse the police in particular of “having been passive”. “There were at least 40 officers armed to the teeth but they didn’t do anything until it was too late,” the father of 10-year-old Jacklyn Cazares, killed in the massacre, told ABC.

“I went out with my friend”

Recall that the killer, Salvador Ramos, had first shot his 66-year-old grandmother. This is after he went to elementary school with an AR-15 and a bulletproof vest. The sequel is the infamous great tragedy that we all know. “I just opened the curtain. And I put my hand out. I went out with my friend. I knew it was the police. I saw the armor and the shield,” added the little 9-year-old child, survivor, during his testimony in the presence of his parents.
